Updated list on Arsenal players that have withdrawn from international duty

Arsenal BuzzBy Arsenal BuzzMarch 29, 2026

Arsenal have been dealt a significant injury blow during the international break, with ten first-team players withdrawing from their respective national squads and returning to London for assessment.

The Gunners have seen players pulled from five different national teams, with England the worst affected. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, and Noni Madueke have all withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel’s squad, while Martín Zubimendi has returned early from Spain duty after reporting discomfort in his right knee.

Piero Hincapié departed Ecuador’s camp following medical tests, with Arsenal’s medical staff already informed of his situation.

Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Leandro Trossard and Jurriën Timber also withdrew from attending their nations camp.

    The full list of withdrawals:

    • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Eze
    • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Saka
    • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Rice
    • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Madueke
    • 🇪🇸 Zubimendi
    • 🇪🇨 Hincapié
    • 🇧🇷 Gabriel
    • 🇫🇷 Saliba
    • 🇧🇪 Trossard
    • 🇳🇱 Timber

Arsenal’s medical team will assess all ten players over the coming week ahead of the Gunners’ return to club action.

The scale of the withdrawals is likely to raise significant concern at London Colney, with Mikel Arteta’s side facing a critical run of fixtures in the weeks ahead.
