Granted Extra Rest – Joining Late
Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice have both been given additional recovery time by England and will only link up with the Three Lions squad for the second fixture against Japan on March 31.
Not Called Up
Mikel Merino remains at the club as he continues to manage an injury, while Martin Ødegaard was left out of the Norway squad entirely as he works his way back from his ongoing knee problem.
Pulled Out Through Injury
Gabriel Magalhães (knee), Jurriën Timber, Leandro Trossard and William Saliba have all withdrawn from their respective national squads and will use the break to recover at the club’s training ground.
