Nagelsmann hails Havertz as a game-changer on par with Wirtz and Musiala

Arsenal BuzzBy Arsenal BuzzMarch 29, 2026

Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann heaped praise on Arsenal forward Kai Havertz following Germany’s victory over Ukraine, placing him in the same category as some of the country’s most exciting attacking talents when fully fit.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Nagelsmann suggested that a fully fit Havertz is as impactful as Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry — underlining just how highly the Arsenal man is rated within the national team setup.

“If he reaches peak fitness, he’s on the same level for us as Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, or Serge Gnabry, a game-changer.”
