Arsenal have been dealt a significant injury blow during the international break, with ten first-team players withdrawing from their respective national squads and returning to London for assessment.
The Gunners have seen players pulled from five different national teams, with England the worst affected. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, and Noni Madueke have all withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel’s squad, while Martín Zubimendi has returned early from Spain duty after reporting discomfort in his right knee.
Piero Hincapié departed Ecuador’s camp following medical tests, with Arsenal’s medical staff already informed of his situation.
Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Leandro Trossard and Jurriën Timber also withdrew from attending their nations camp.
